Daniel A. Tagliente, Esq. is a partner at Tagliente & Shah, LLC. Mr. Tagliente holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA. Since obtaining these degrees, Mr. Tagliente has established a successful career as an electrical engineer. Mr. Tagliente has authored and co-authored a variety of technical articles, many of which have been recognized and awarded for their contributions to the engineering field.
Mr. Tagliente received the Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2015. While attending law school, Mr. Tagliente served as a member and associate editor of the Law Review and wrote an article addressing recent changes to the patent system. This article was selected for publication in Volume 45, Issue 1 of the Seton Hall Law Review.
While still attending law school, Mr. Tagliente became a licensed patent agent by passing the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s registration exam, and successfully passed the New York and New Jersey bar exams shortly after graduating. Mr. Tagliente graduated as the number 3 student in his section and upon graduation, was inducted to the Order of the Coif, a legal honor society that only recognizes the top 10% of graduating law students each year.
Following admission to the New Jersey Bar, Mr. Tagliente partnered with Milin Y. Shah, Esq., to form Tagliente & Shah, LLC.
In his free time, Mr. Tagliente enjoys volunteering locally as a firefighter in his hometown of Parsippany, New Jersey, and is an avid fan of the New York Jets and New York Yankees. Mr. Tagliente also serves as an officer in the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps of the United States Army Reserve.
